    Hi,

I’m running a site on EE 2.0.2.  I’m about to upgrade this thing to the most current version of EE but noticed that I cannot use the top menu items in the Control Panel.  It seems to be throwing an error related to JQuery:

Error: assignment to undeclared variable finalLogOutTimer

I haven’t made a change to this site in months (aside from a user posting blog entries), and I wasn’t having a problem before.  Is anyone aware of this error and is it possible that it would be solved, or made worse by upgrading?

Is it possible that a change made by the webhost could have caused this?

    Thanks!

    Hi Rolf,

We have a new version of EE coming out this Wednesday so I would recommend waiting for that. There has been quite a few changes from the version you are using presently.

The error you came across will actually iron itself out when you replace you JavaScript files when doing a version update. See simialr thread here
