Dynamic Content is 'stuck' on older post

    I’m really confused by a bug going on with my site. If you go to http://atech.com/news/ you’ll see news content types being pulled in dynamically, and this has been working great. In my index template i check to see if segment_2 is set to display either the landing view or the individual post. However, a post was submitted a few weeks ago about Canadien Operations and yadda, and this post content is now hijacking all new post content. I’ve deleted the post, flushed cache, and its still doing it. If I go in and create a new post, the content for that post will be replaced with the Canadien Operations content.

    I know that the template logic is fine, because posts created BEFORE this bug load properly: http://atech.com/news/ascendant-technology-to-acquire-cognence-inc

    Can anyone provide some insight as to where I should be looking for this bug? Here is a look at my full news/index template: http://pastebin.com/G7qHAAz7

    Okay, as an update, I think the data got deleted out of the database.. but only partially.. would this offset how the url is used to query for a post?

    Hi Clay,

    has something changed?

    Each post I click-on seems to bring up correct page for me.

    To make sure it the template grabs correct entry you could add the url_title= parameter to your Channel Entry Tag

    {exp:channel:entries channel="event" limit="1" url_title="{segment_2}"}

    I’m not sure why it stopped working without that query parameter in, but that’s essentially how I fixed it shortly after posting here. Thanks for passing that along, hopefully it helps someone else as well.
