I’ve been having a similar problem. I have PHP Version 5.2.9. The following is the error I’m getting. I’m using imagsizer. Although the image seems to be resized and where it’s suppose to be. This is part of a safeCracker page. So it may have to do with the safeCracker upload image field?

    A PHP Error was encountered

    Severity: Notice

    Message: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: Read error!

    Filename: imgsizer/pi.imgsizer.php

    Line Number: 153

    A PHP Error was encountered

    Severity: Warning

Message: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/p26h9tjb/public_html/trio_admin/codeigniter/system/core/Exceptions.php:170)

    Filename: core/Common.php

    Line Number: 405

    Hi upressplay,

I split your post into its own thread since I’m not sure that the error you are seeing is related. This error is occurring in the imgsizer plugin code so please contact the author of that addon for direct support with this issue. We’ll keep this thread open so please let us know how you get on and whether you continue to have a problem with Safecracker.

    Cheers

    Greg

I’m getting a similar set of errors (line 152 instead of line 153, referencing the ImgSizer plugin).

The templates seem to show the errors if there is a template with no images uploaded to a SafeCracker field, however, I DO have one or two pages all using an identical template that seem to be OK that aren’t using SafeCracker at all. Very mysterious.

It still happens with ONLY the EE tags (no HTML at all), it DOES disappear when the ImgSizer tag is removed, so I’d imagine that narrows it down to that or the SafeCracker field.

Hi, PB, how can we replicate this problem using just SafeCracker?

Sue, apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

The SafeCracker fieldtype seems to work on it’s own and not throw up the error. Looks like it may be the ImgSizer plugin then.

Hi, Pillory Barn. You might want to look at CE Image which you can find on Devot-ee.com. ImgSizer is no longer being supported by it’s developer.

    Does that help?
