In the process of installing 2.1.3 for the first time.

I have the Server Check Wizard for 2.2.1 installed, and it is saying my PHP version doesn’t meet minimum requirements.

This server is running version 5.2.0, so I’m wondering what’s up with that?  Everything else is showing installed and kosher.

    Any tips?

Oh…if it helps…on the install wizard I’m also getting the WSOD with the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /h1/r/rr/rr3d/public_html/mnw/mnwee/installer/core/Installer_Config.php on line 45

I tried toggling from “AUTO” to “QUERY_STRING” in the config.php, but no joy.

BTW…1.6.9 is running successfully on this same server.

    Thanks,

    Bob

    Hi Bob,

Are you having to force PHP 5.x by way of an .htaccess file or something similar? Is it possible you also need to do this for the (virtual) host you’re trying to install EE 2.x on?
