I am going crazy trying to figure this out.  I have created a custom field group, new weblog, assigned the group to the weblog and the custom fields are not showing up in the Publish page.  I have done the exact same thing on a different “clean” installation and it worked fine. The site I am working on is one I inherited and I am just getting up to speed on EE.  So hopefully it is a setting I am missing somewhere. I have tried creating the custom field group and weblog a several times and keep having the same problem.  I have simplified it by adding only one custom field to no avail.

Any suggestions on what to look for?  I understand how everything woks and like I said, I did it in a clean install.

    This is EE 1.7.

    Thanks for any insights.

Nevermind.  Just discovered my site is using Field General… Set my custom field group to on and everything appeared in the publish page.

Glad you were able to figure out what the problem was. Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
