    Hi,

Before writing you this message I was looking for answers, reading threads , trying every suggested thing. No Luck.

    GoDaddy
    root:    /var/chroot/home/content/h/e/r/“my folder”/html/express/expressionengine/templates/

    open_basedir   no value
    rewrite is off

    directory is under 777

    please help!

Thank you for not helping 😊 I have figured out myself. For other who have similar problem:

Check permissions follow guidance and most important one: If you are using Woo templates or similar check for default_site folder within wootemplates folder. Inside the default_site folder you will find editable pages(dreamveaver or any other editor)

I’m having the same issue, but am not really expecting a reply from tech support… it could take a week.  What was the fix for you?  Folder Permissions or PHP permissions?

Nevermind… just solved it.  By default EE had the path starting from /httpdocs and I had to put the full path.
