Makes sense to me - much more intuit-able name for someone looking for help from the community.
FYI - The first sentence of your “What is the Community Help Forum?” thread still refers to CodeShare Corner.
I personally think it would also be beneficial to change the order - and therefore the implied hierarchy - of the forums within Community Support Forums. I would prefer:
1. Community Help
2. Development & Programming
3. General Discussion
4. EE Wiki Discussion
Mind you, I’m not a big fan of the current forum structure. I think I would merge Community Gathering and Community Support Forums to create one greater “Community Forums”. Pre-Sales could be moved to Support Forums (which I would rename “ExpressionEngine 2 Support Forums” - just to be more explicit).
I think the General Discussion forum is perhaps unnecessary. Consider merging it with Community Help. If you feel the need to keep it then consider renaming it to “ExpressionEngine Lounge” to be clearer that it is a forum for talking about ExpressionEngine without any expectation of getting any support from anyone - more of a social hang-out.
And if you did that maybe you’d need to rename The Lounge - not sure to what though, maybe “Shouldn’t you be doing this on Facebook/Twitter Forums”.
Or maybe just merge General Discussion with The Lounge. The Lounge would then be the default ‘talk about anything you want ‘cos nobody’s paying any attention forum’.
