Description:
The primary responsibility of the Technical Support Specialist (TSS) is answering community posts in the ExpressionEngine Community Forums during an assigned coverage period, with particular attention to the Technical Support forums. The TSS is responsible for resolving each issue by answering the post directly or obtaining the help of another TSS or officers of the company. Sometimes resolving an issue will require working outside of the assigned coverage period. The TSS will also work with EllisLab staff on ways to improve technical support, help maintain learning resource, and test new versions of ExpressionEngine.
Requirements:
Proven people skills. Must be cheerful, friendly, empathetic, level-headed, calm, and assertive.
Excellent written communication skills. Nearly 100% of this job is via written communications.
ExpressionEngine expert.
Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, and related technologies and issues that affect dynamic publishing systems.
PHP experience helpful but not required.
CodeIgniter experience helpful but not required.
