I’m getting the following error when attempting to delete a custom field…

    MySQL ERROR:

    Error Number: 1091

Description: Can’t DROP ‘field_id_121’; check that column/key exists

Query: ALTER TABLE exp_weblog_data DROP COLUMN field_id_121

Any insight you can provide is appreciated, and we are using EE 1.6.9.

    Thanks!
    Scott

Hi, Scott. Have you checked to see that there really is a field_id_121 field is in the exp_weblog_data table?

What kind of custom field is this?

There is not a field_id_121 field in the exp_weblog_data table- it goes from field_id_79 to field_id_175.

This is a custom Weblog field that was created from here:
Site ›  Admin ›  Weblog Administration ›  Field Groups

Looks like you have some data corruption then. Do you recall which exp_weblog_fields value is set for that field?

You may need to delete that entry from the exp_weblog_fields table by hand, if there isn’t a corresponding one in exp_weblog_data.

Make backups first, though before attempting any sort of direct database manipulation.
