When editing an existing entry, an nGen File Field in a Matrix cell will not update unless the entry is updated twice or if the cache is cleared via the Admin->Utilities->Clear Cached Data. Has anybody encountered something like this? It’s not a fatal problem, just irritating.
Alterations to text fields or Wygwams update fine.

I haven’t seen this reported before. This happens only with nGen - not with standard EE custom fields, or even WYGWAM custom fields?
If so, it maybe good to follow up also with nGen about it.
You’re on 1.6.8, so it can’t hurt - and might help - to update to 1.7. That also happens to be a security update so you’d be protecting your installation at the same time.
