Hi, I´ve installed the CP Analytics extension and found it just great.

We have some member groups with limited access to CP, and while my client loves the idea of having GA stats in his CP, he doesn´t wants those other members to have access as well…

Is there a way to hide the Analytics Panel to certain members, or member groups?

    Thanks
    Gabriel

    Hi, Gabriel.

I usually put GA code in a Global variable which is a bit harder to find than looking through a list of templates in the control panel back end. It’s not the same as restricting access, but it does make it a bit harder to find and edit.

    Does that help?

    Hi Sue,
    thanks for helping

I´m not sure if I understand you… GA code in a global variable?

Maybe I missing something or probably did´t explain myself right.

What my client likes is the Derek Hogue´s (Amphibian Design) extension that shows you in the Control Panel Backend the stats and info available through Google Analytics…

But I´d like to limit the access to the panel that contains its info, like I limit the access to Design, Tools, etc in the Control Panel for some member groups, that already has´nt access to the templates..

It was my mistake. I don’t use that particular offering. But looking at it in Devot-ee.com, I see it’s an Accessory, not an extension.

You should be able to limit who sees that accessory on a per member group basis. Here’s a screen shot for another accessory.. the GA should be similar.

If you need any additional help with the accessory, you may want to contact the author directly.

    Thanks a lot…

I didn´t realized it was an accessory… I´m just dumb!

    So simple to solve!!

    Thanks again, Sue
