What is the maximum number of characters for a custom field name in EE2?
Is it a fixed length or can it be increased by a “configuration” setting?

Hi, Mark - that value is set to 32 characters, with the field description set to 50 characters.

i have seen a few addons such as:
http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/kyara/
which allow this to be changed. but never tried them - never had the need really!
