    I created a custom relationship field for one of my channels and now I’m trying to delete it but I get the following php error:

    A PHP Error was encountered

    Severity: Notice

    Message: Undefined property: Rel_ft::$db

    Filename: fieldtypes/ft.rel.php

    Line Number: 202

    Fatal error: Call to a member function select() on a non-object in /home/tupeloma/public_html/admin/expressionengine/fieldtypes/ft.rel.php on line 202

    You can see a screenshot of the error screen here:

    You are running into this bug which has been fixed for the upcoming EE 2.1.4.

    Is there a way to manually delete it from the database in the meantime?

    I’m afraid my client will be confused when they see this field as an option.

    electricorange,

    For now I would recommend hiding that field from your client using your Publish Layouts until the new build release which I don’t have a date yet.

    If you need some instruction with this don’t hesitate to ask
