Am I missing something, or is the MT Import Utility missing in EE 2? Can’t seem to find it anywhere in the CP. If it is gone, what’s the suggested alternative? I need to import my client’s TypePad blog into their new EE site.

Hi, Andy J. There aren’t any official methods of importing into EE2, if you can get TypePad into EE1 and upgrade to EE2, that’s one way of doing things, or using the third party add-on DataGrab will allow you to import .csv files and RSS feeds.

Thanks Sue. I’ll look into seeing if I can convert their MT file into a CSV and use DataGrab. In the mean time I’ll put in a feature request to bring back the MT Import Utility. Sad to see it gone.
