    Hey guys,

I am new to EE, and still learning the ins and outs. Love how flexible and powerful it is! I am still learning the language, so I need a bit of help conceptualizing and organizing.

So my question is, how would you structure a large site that has a bunch of sub project sites? The example os change.org, everything needs to tie in together and be searchable, but for organization sake, the sub categories need to have a bit of an altered theme and a sub site feel.

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the forums!
There are many, many approaches to building large sites, and no 1 solution will fit all occasions.
Some good resources if you’re just starting out:
http://www.train-ee.com/courseware/books/  (lots of free tuts there as well)
    and
http://mijingo.com/  where Ryan Irelan (of EEInsider) does a really good series of screencasts on building an EE site.

Yea, I have the screencasts, they are the only reason I know any thing about EE, I just need some help wrapping my brain around what each module does and how it can be used (channels, groups, ect)
