Stumbling around as new user.
I was attempting to install the ‘Fresh News Theme’ and I missed that all important step when I initialized the EE installation thinking that I could configure it after the installation, now I’m reading that I have to re-install EE and do it again.
Can anyone give advice as to the best way to uninstall EE?

Since you’re new to the EE forums, have you seen EEWiki:// How to Post a Support Request?
The easiest way is just to re-upload your EE files, and visit the /system folder to re-start the install. You’ll need to put back in the zero length /system/expressionengine/config/config.php file and database.php file.
EE will let you know you’ve already got a database installed, just ignore it and let the install re-use the same db tables.

Thank you so much Sue. Last night I just deleted the database and all EE files and re-uploaded everything. Still stumbling around but I got the theme up! Thanks for your prompt response.
