I’ve just installed ip2nation for the first time on EE Version 2.1.3 Build 20101220

I didn’t know what type of SQL File Location it needed - a server path or a URL. I tried various things. One of them worked partially because 2 new exp_ip2nation tables appeared in my database. However several of the things I tried gave me php error messages. What seems to have worked was a full server path including ip2nation.sql at the end.

So Ellis Labs for the benefit of others in the future please use the term full server path when that is what you mean.

    prmansfield,

Just to confirm you don’t need to import this database to have the module working. It is installed with a reasonably current version of the IP database so just installing the module is sufficient.

True that the location of the SQL file could be clearer as in specify whether a path or a URL like in the Module’s User Guide

    John,
Thanks for accepting my suggestion. Do I need to do anything to ensure it is put on the to do list for the ip2nation module?

Hi, Peter. We have the Feature Requests area of the site, where you can post a request for doc changes.

    Does that help?
