With an EE 1.7.0 install, is there any way of assigning a user to receive comment notifications without having them submit a comment? We would like to auto-subscribe a member to an entry’s comment thread after they’ve edited a specific entry via an SAEF.
I understand that this would not be a standard feature, but was wondering if anyone has had any success getting this to work with hooks or custom code; or could steer me in the right direction to create this ourselves.
