I would like to create a list of donors for a non-profit. Alphabetical by last name. Such as below. What is the best method for doing this?

Mr. and Mrs. Apple
B
Bob and Jill Baker
C
Bill Crash
and so on…..

The easiest way would be to create a category group for letters of the alphabet, assign each entry to the appropriate category, then use the category:archive tag to display the data in your template(s)
