Hi there! I am new to Expression Engine but am a long time user of various other types of content management systems. I am having some major trouble though. I got into the Expression Engine Christmas special with a nifty freelancer license and installed it a couple of days ago but I can’t for the life of me make heads or tails of this thing. I set up the database, installed it and thought everything was hunkydory but when I go to the main page of my site, it’s completely blank. I don’t know what to do. I need to get my site up pronto. I tried the server checker and it turned out fine (I’m using GoDaddy btw if that has any bearing). I tried to debug it but am not sure anything came up. I checked the PHP memory and it says 64 MB which from what I’ve read is fine. I also checked my extensions (it says I have none but they’re disabled anyways). What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it? I will also note that I do not have any articles up yet (I’m still trying to figure that one out via the documentation), but I figure it should still show something right?

My url is http://www.jbridgesdesign.com. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

P.S. I just realized that I posted this initially in the wrong forum (under EE1, not 2) so I am moving it here. Mods, please feel free to delete the other one as I have EE2 and need help with EE2).

Hmm I didn’t realize I needed an index page group but I have something up now. Sorry for the trouble and thank you!
