I’ve got the following template
{exp:channel:entries channel="products" category="not 35|36" dynamic="off" orderby="product_order|title" sort="asc|asc" parse="inward"}

{/exp:channel:entries}For some odd reason, it seems the category=“not 35|36” has no effect. Any ideas?

Which version/build of EE2.x are you using? You can see that at the bottom of any control panel page in the footer.
