I updated fron EE 2.1.1 to version 2.1.3. When I did this I got this error when trying to access the publish page of a channel:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method EE_Fieldtype::File_ft() in (first part of the path deleted here)/expressionengine/third_party/safecracker_catchall/ft.safecracker_catchall.php on line 22

I uninstalled the Safecracker_catchall field type and of course the error went away, but I’d like to get that file type back.  I was using the beta version but installed the 1.0.1 version of safecracker, didn’t make a difference.  I cleared cache, uninstalled all the firecracker stuff and reinstalled, no difference.  I’ve reported the issue on the safecracker forums too.

Thanks for any insight you can provide!

Recieved this message from Rob Sanchez on the safecracker forums:

“This is a known bug in the SafeCracker Catchall fieldtype, that we will have a fix for soon. The solution for now, if you do not actually make use of the Catchall fieldtype, is to disable/remove it.”

Mike_NC, definitely update to 2.1.3 as a number of bugs in the Publish page have been resolved. Is this working for you now?

Yes, all is well.  I had already updated to 2.1.3 (the day it came out) and when I received the new file from Rob, that fixed the file issue and all is well.  Thanks for checking!
