I have one template that I use for several different categories.  So, I want to be able to do a statement that shows only one of the categories pages.  I was thinking something like so:

{if category == "1"}
show this statement/disclaimer
{/if}

I am having a tough time getting it to work correctly.

sorry, brain lapse…I am using:

{exp:weblog:entries category="1"}
show this statement/disclaimer
{/exp:weblog:entries}
