    Hi folks,

I’ve just completed my first EE2 site and I’m super impressed with the new version. Tiny issue - it’s important that I use the fields under “date” for a channel entry to specify the publish and expiry dates for that entry. Trouble is, the date selector tool is defaulting (in both instances) to Jan 1st 1970, meaning I’m hundreds of clicks away from choosing today’s date.

How can I make these selectors default to todays’ date?

    Thanks,

    J.

Update: problem only occurs when editing entries, not when publishing new ones.

Hi, Johnlync. Which version/build of EE2.x are you using? You can see that at the bottom of any control panel footer. (Not in the Info Accessory.)

Hi, sorry - should have included that. I’m using 2.1.1.

It’s not as big an issue as I thought - it only affects the process when editing entries.

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi johnlync,

This should be fixed in 2.1.3. Please upgrade and let us know if that works. Thanks!
