hey, guys, how can i create a non-latin language entry in wiki?

When I tried to fill a Chinese term in the “Create or Find Page” box in the wiki bundled with EE2.0 and clicked “Go”, nothing could be found or created. Is there any fix with this issue? Thanks.

    listen1999,

What version and build of EE are you using?
What exact term did you use?

In your Global Channel Preferences do you have Automatically Convert High ASCII Text to Entities set to on or off?

    John,

It seems that EE doesn’t allow non-Latin characters appear on URLs. I believe that causes my problem. What I am trying to do is create a page with Chinese title on EE wiki. When I tried to create a wiki page with a Chinese title, things got wrong. Can you help?

That is correct. According to the relevant RFCs URLs mustn’t contain of characters other than (a limited subset of) 7bit ASCII. I don’t think there’s an easy way around that.
