How do you change a member’s group in EE2?
The way I’d expect it to work is to click on Members then View All then the username. I’d then expect to see a dropdown somewhere on that page or in one of the linked sections on the left such as Edit Profile.
Any advice?

From the Control Panel, click on Members -> View All and then click on member username. You should be at the member’s account section. Under Member Administration in the left sidebar, click on Member Preferences. You’ll see the dropdown box to change the group.
