Hi,
I need to use relationship fields inside a Matrix, or in other words - multiple relationships (that can vary in numbers) for one entry.
Do I have to use Playa for this or can it be achieved in any other way?

These are both third-party add-ons not supported by us. You can ask the same question over at Pixel & Tonics site or for now I will move this thread to our CodeShare Corner where some of our community might be able to help you out.

Yes, your Matrix fields can be Playa fields, and you can have more than one set of Playa fields in a Matrix row.
