Hey everyone. I just moved my Expression Engine 2 install from a test server to the live server, and got most of the CP working. In the CP, when I go to Admin > Channel Administration > Global Preferences, I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/content/50/7114350/html/samcosys/expressionengine/controllers/cp/admin_content.php on line 6032

Also, when I try to view the site’s index template, I get this:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare Channel::related_entries() in /home/content/50/7114350/html/samcosys/expressionengine/modules/channel/mod.channel.php on line 7679

    Any idea??

So, I’ve navigated to the pages that don’t use the exp:channel:entries tags, and they work just fine. Every page that does use these tags is throwing the “Cannot redeclare Channel” error.

All of the channel entry data is there in the CP, though.

Hmmm.. how did you migrate the content? I tend to do a fresh install on the server, then update the database with content from the staging server.

I don’t know if it was operator error or what, but I copied the code for both offending php files from the test server to the live server, and everything’s fine now.

Very glad to hear that. Please post again as needed.
