    I am using EE 1.6.8 - would it be possible (by plugin, extension or hack, I am that keen/needy) to make a weblog return elements with

    either search:custom_field=“no” or search:custom_field_2=“yes” conditions met rather than requiring both be met?

    Like I say I am in pretty dire need of this.

    What file would this functionality be held?

    Thanks 😊

    Have you tried with if statements?  I think this is for 1.x

    http://expressionengine.com/legacy_docs/templates/globals/conditionals.html

    but something like:

    {if search:custom_field="no" OR search:custom_field="yes"}display what you want here
    {if:else} display something else or do something else
    {/if}

    Thanks, I’ll give that a go, but I think ti probably won’t as the search:custom_fields go in the weblog tags itself and so would not allow conditions.
    Cheers 😊
