I am having trouble getting expired events to show in a “big” calendar. Here’s the opening code:

{exp:channel:calendar switch="alternate-col|" channel="events" show_future_entries="yes" show_expired="yes"}

Is this possible and I’m making a simple oversight? Or does this require a workaround?

What version and build of EE are you using?
Are you using any add-ons?

Have you got a link to where this isn’t working for you?

Can I infer that (1) show_expired should work on a calendar and (2) the code above looks good?

Using EE 2.1.0 build 20100810, Matrix, P&T Field Pack, and Playa. Plug-ins: Character Limiter, HTML Stripper UNOFFICIAL EE 2.X CONVERSION, Low Replace, Magpie RSS Parser, Timetravel, TruncHTML, Word Limiter, and XML Encode.

Hi, Shanan. Yes, I can verify that expired events should show if you have that set in the exp:channel:calendar tag.

What I’d try is putting the calendar code by itself in a new template. Does that work?

Back to debugging this issue, the problem was in an embed within the calendar. All fixed. Thank you for your direction and support.
