I’m curious how this process would work. Unlike systems like WordPress each EE site is different in terms of structure (custom fields etc). Does this mean you’ll work with all fieldtype tags and settings as needed both 1st and 3rd party? The details on your site are extremely minimal. Perhaps you could explain the process a bit more.

Implementing PSD as EE templates? Sounds like a link bait to me.

Also for the record, it’s EllisLab not ellis labs and ExpressionEngine is one word not two.

@Erik You are right about every website being different. The cost ($299) is base price, exact cost involved is quoted once we review designs.
@Cem Thanks for correction. Much appreciated.

What kind of experience does XHTML Candy have with building EE sites? There are numerous performance factors in play when building EE templates. Before paying anyone for EE coding I’d want examples and performance practices on the table.

    Does that make sense?

We understand that before ordering you would definitely want to look at previous examples. That is why we are in process of taking permissions from some of our clients we worked with to let us show the work done on our website. You will be able to see our updated “Work & Testimonials” section on our website in next few days.

Your order page doesn’t mention that the $299 is a base price and you will quote exact cost after reviewing designs.

I’d find that misleading, don’t you think?

    Cem,

    The site says “...starts at…”

That said, the page leaves much in question.

Yes this one does but not the order page Erik. I’m let to believe that in 7 days I will get HTML + EE templates for $398.

Ahh I hadn’t made it as far as the order page. Very good point.

@Cem, @erik Thanks for suggestions.  To make it more clearer to customers we are preparing default implementation scope which will explain what the base cost covers and what is considered extra for every cms implementation. If you have any suggestions please share it with us.

    Thanks

Is there any point doing it for $299? You surely can’t be making any profit from that. Kinda devalues the industry as well.

it’s not just $299 that is just the cost for starting implementation on EE. Even with minimum options selected on order page cost is $448 + additional cost quoted after reviewing designs.
