    Hi!

I was just trying to use the email form which is provided by the email module and I’m wondering where to layout the error message template which is displayed when the form is sent with fields missing, or for example when someone enters a wrong CAPTCHA.

Is there a system template somewhere which I can customize? I’ve been looking at different locations and couldn’t something useable yet.

    Thanks,
    Jan

    Jan,

You can find this User Message Template in Design > Message Pages

    Does that help?

    Hi John,

    thanks that does help.

Now there is a second problem. I have a multi language site and there errors are only displayed in english (which is the default language on the site). The second language is german and the language pack is installed. I have the current language in {segment_1} (either de or en) because I’m using different templates for the languages and I also have dedicated channels for both languages. Could I somehow get EE to display the errors in the current language according to {segment_1} ?

    Thanks,
    Jan

You can have EE show such messages based on your users’ preferences, but taking an url_segment into account is not an option. Perhaps an extension such as this might help?
