Hi,

We have 4 custom fields where the file type is set to File and the Custom File Option: File Type is set to image. The entry also contains a few text input and textarea fields.

When editing an entry, for example updating the Header (text input field) and submit the changes the files goes missing from the entry. The actual files are still in the File Manager and available, but the File fields have gone blank and we have to edit the entry and select the image files and submit the entry again.

This behavior seems completely random and I’m wondering if anyone else have experienced this particular problem or have a similar problem/issue with File fields set to image?

We’ve had a few similar reports, but nothing that we can nail down. It’s the randomness that’s hard to track down.

Build/Version of EE? Any third party add-ons?

Build: 20100810 and We are using Low Reorder as the only third party add-on.

If you temporarily disable all extensions, does the problem go away?
