Just a quick question (I hope).

We are upgrading from EE 1.6.7 to 1.6.9.

We have a primary and failover server stacks.
The primary has 2 servers running EE both attached to the same DB.
The failover has 1 server running EE attached to a secondary DB.

We will upgrade the failover system first.

    My question:
Do I need to run full upgrades on the primary servers or can I just install the EE files and restore the failover DB on to the primary DB?

In short, does the install wizard affect other system files outside of the DB?

Sorry if this is a bit long-winded. I don’t want to leave anything out.

    Thanks,

The upgrading process only modifies the database. If you have such a pre-existing db (from your spare), all you need is a corresponding set of files.
