    Hi everybody,

I’m designing a travel site for a friend which has reviews on 13 cities.
Within each city there are 8 categories such as, where to hang out, what to eat etc..

http://www.thechicinsider.com/newdev  (this is just the basic framework of the site)

I’ve only made much smaller websites using EE and I’m a bit stuck as to what the best option to go about this would be..

I want to make it as simple as possible when the user has a new post (for example, a new post on a place to eat in Barcelona) so they can direct that post to the “where to eat” page under “barcelona”.  Do you do this by using category id or something to the post?  But i can imagine that method getting a bit fiddly if you have to type a specific id to the post everytime. if there is a typo the post will get lost..

A friend suggested the category checkbox extension but I’m not sure if this is the best way to go about this.
Also someone suggested the Playa add-on from Pixel and Tonic.com   but I’m still not quite sure how this works.

I’m sure this isn’t a very complicated issue for more experienced coders on this forum.

Please let me know if you know of a simple and effective method : )

    Thanks
