LG Twitter blank screen

Not sure if this is the correct place to make this post, but any help is appreciated.

I recently upgraded to LG Twitter 2.1.1 without success.  Previously, version 2.0.1 worked fine, at least until Twitter updated authentication requirements.

When I try to make a tweet using this add-on, through the quick tweet box or twitter tab, my browser loads a blank screen and no tweet is issued from my twitter account.

I followed all of the instructions here:  http://expressionengine-addons.com/index.php/addons/license/lg-twitter

As a test, I changed the extension settings to have some incorrect Twitter account details (Username, consumer key, etc).  With the incorrect account details, any attempts to post tweets resulted in an error message, not a blank screen.

The problem could be in the LG Twitter user guide instructions that explain how to register a twitter application. The user guide specifies to register your app as an application type “browser” and leave the callback URL blank.  Leaving the callback URL blank makes the application type switch to “client” when clicking “save application”.  I put in my site’s homepage as the ‘callback’ url, which allows the application type to remain as a browser, but this did not help.

    Thanks,

    Luke

    As an update:

Tweets using LGTwitter are now going through, but after posting a tweet or updating the tweet tab the screen continues to load as a blank page.

    Luke,

This is a third party add-on so moving this to the CodeShare Corner for you. It would be best to contact the author (Leevi) of the add-on for support though
