Bizarre Pagination Issue

So, I’ve got something pretty weird happening.

In order to get my paginated search results rocking, I implemented the fix described over here: https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/13536/. It seemed to work fine in my DEV environment, but for some reason the pagination isn’t working as expected on production.

In fact, if you view the results for a search like “treme” using the simple search form at the top of the homepage - http://www.noraworks.org - you’ll see that the pagination links are displayed like “N10,N20,N30, etc.” Weird. This is what’s causing the issue, no doubt.

But on the DEV site - http://dev2.noraworks.org - doing the same search displays “P10,P20,P30, etc.” Which works out.

Anyone seen this before? Thoughts on how to fix? Running EE 2.1.0 (the August build)

    Gratitude in advance.

    Hi Trumpet,

Are both sites running the same build? Is there perhaps an .htaccess file doing URL rewriting on one but not on the other?

Actually, I just realized that the production site is running the July build and the development site is running the August build.

I’m planning on upgrading production this evening, so let me see if that fixes it. If not, I’ll be back. Thanks!

Turns out, this was exactly the problem w/ the pagination. Upgraded to the August build, implemented the hot fix above, and good to go.

Glad to hear it. Please don’t hesitate to post again in case there’s anything else.
