    Hi,
I hnave a custom field for a price. The € will be added in the template, so I just need to enter the price. I set the field´s content to be “number”. So far so good. My item costs 9,80 €
I enter 9,80 and EE protests - not a valid input. I enter 9.80 and all is fine. Looks, as if the algo accepts a . as the divider between cent and euro, but not a ,
I looked around in the CP - especially unter localization to find the switch, that will bring me my comma back. But didn´t find anything (or I overlooked it).
Sure, I can set the field content to “any”, but from a security and usability sandpoint I think, that narrowing down the choices is a good thing.

    Cheers

    Hi awa,

This is expected behavior but I understand commas would be preferred in some cases. I believe periods are more accepted from a database standpoint, but feel free to make a feature request for comma support. Thanks for the feedback!
