I just upgraded my server to PHP 5.3.  One of my sites is running 1.6.7 and I’ve been flooded with the dreaded Depricated messages.  So I need to upgrade it to the latest version, but I don’t have it and it appears since I’ve upgraded this license to 2.1 I don’t have access to 1.x versions in my downloads anymore.

It’s the same license for the same site, in fact I’ve got EE2.1.x running in a subfolder right now while I transition the site to 2.1.

But in the meantime all those deprecated notices are vomiting all over the site, and attempting to turn off those warnings at the server level hasn’t worked.

    Help is appreciated!!

Welcome to the forums! These message should only be shown to Superadmins, so normal users of your site would not see them. That said, seeing as you do have a 2.1 license, just visit the store and download a fresh copy: you will be given the option (radio button) to download 1.6.9 instead of 2.1.

Ah!!!!!  Didn’t know about the drop down, I thought it was gone for good!  I actually just got done upgrading as I found a copy in the 2.0 public beta folder I had downloaded a long time ago.

Also explains why my boss wasn’t freaking out 😉

    Go ahead and close this.
