When no limit-parameter is specified in the {exp:channel:entries}-tag, the default value of 100 applies. Is there a way (through config.ini or the Config File Editor) to modify this default? Most of the time, I need to parse all entries, so I need to add ‘limit=“99999”’ to the {exp:channel:entries} tag every time.

No, there is no way to change this default. I am afraid you’ll have to add the limit parameter for every tag.
