Hi,

Does anybody know what happened to the option to only add the url for an image when its inserted into a field?

we used ot use url only to produce like: {filedir_x}image.jpg
Now in ee2 when we add an image it jstu creates the full img tag :s

If you use the File fieldtype to upload an image it will output the url of the image.

Yes, that does work.  However I tried to convert the field to File field type and some of the old images work and others dont.  They all hold similar data https://ellislab.com/asset/images/team-photo//filename.ext .  I cant figure out why some converted correctly and others didnt.
