The font size of my weblog entry forms is changing erratically

Help!!! I’m not sure exactly how to describe this problem. When I am in my control panel, sometimes all the entry forms and entries appear on the screen in a normal, legible font size. Then something will happen (if I’m causing it to happen, I don’t know what I’m doing to that causes it), and all of a sudden, all of the entry forms and entries will appear in microscopic, basically illegible (except with a magnifying glass) font.

I’m not talking about (a) the size of the templates in terms of the number of characters you can enter into the form; or (b) the font size that you specify within the template for the entries to appear in on the ultimate web page. I’m talking about the legibility of the entry forms themselves, when you go to either publish or edit a weblog within the control panel.

Also, this is not a matter of resetting the resolution of the computer screen—if I go to any other website, including this one and including my own site in its finished form—things appear in a normal, legible font size. It’s only when I’m in my control panel, trying to edit or publish something that the whole form and its contents grow miniscule. It’s very frustrating. I’m nearsighted enough, but it’s virtually impossible to edit code when it’s too small to read what you’ve got there.

I’ve attached a screen shot so you can get an idea both of what I’m talking about and of how hard it would be to do anything with the way text is currently appearing. I’ve had this problem several times—it arises unpredictably, goes away spontaneously, and then recurs.

Here’s another screen shot, this from the edit screen. Consider how hard it would be to edit anything at this font size (all the more so with my aging eyes).

Sometimes I have this happen, and it’s usually caused by fat fingers on the keyboard.

In Firefox, you can change the zoom.
