I recently went through an update process and was able to get things working on the site. However, the “description” field on the blog has “disappeared” and can no longer be edited. It doesn’t matter if you click on the plus sign or not. There’s nothing there. I imagine it’s some type of access/preference issue but after searching for more than an hour I’m stumped!

    I’m running 1.6.8

I’ve attached the screen shot of what my user is seeing.

Hi, Jim. Are you running any third party extensions? It might make sense to upgrade to 1.6.9 if for no other reason that we’d both be on the same code base.

I tried to do the upgrade from 1.6.7 and made it to 1.6.8 but it didn’t work for 1.6.9. I then later tried to install FieldFrame (unsuccessfully). How would you suggest that I proceed?

Are you using PHP5? What sort of error did you receive with the upgrade?

I keep finding more glitchy (archiving on Videocast page) errors. Site is up at least. I think I need a massive refresh, but don’t know how to go about it. Is there a site that recommends what to do when there are multiple issues? It’s like I need a do-over.

Hi, Jim don’t worry, we’ll get to the bottom of this.
