I just tried opening my comments up to members. I turned off moderation. Turned on requirement that commenters register and sign in.

When members post a comment even when their sign in info shows in the comment panel, they get an error message that they must be registered. But they are not directed to a signin window. Earlier today, EE support told me how to log in, but I can’t do that for everyone, especially since they don’t ask.

Is there a way for a non programmer to fix this? I don’t see it in the control panel. 1.6.8

    Thanks.

The registration and login features won’t just appear - they need to be added to the site.

There is a login form tag, along with some other member related links that include the registration page.

This will require modification to your site design and templates to accomplish.

Ok, I’ve got an expert working on it now. Thanks.
