When I click on the “Edit This Entry” link on the “View Entry” page (after creating or editing an Entry), then make a change and click “Update” to save the page, it causes the entry to become inaccessible.

By inaccessible I mean I can’t access it via URL and it disappears from the channel entries (via a {exp:channel:entries} tag).  It still shows up in the admin.

I have tried everything I can think of to get it to show backup, but the only way I have found is to delete the entry and create a new one.

OK, so 30 seconds after I posted this I went back to the list page and it re-appeared.  Must mean it is a cache issue.  Perhaps it isn’t in-validating the cache for some reason?

Ok, this happens even when just going to Content > Edit then editing an entry.  The entry becomes unavailable.  I did it like 20 minutes ago and it still hasn’t re-appeared, and did do a Tools > Data > Clear Caching for all data.

hey, Dan. Double check that you aren’t being hit by the date bug where you edit the entry and the date goes into the future.

Yup, that’s the issue.  It jumped about 1 hour 10 minutes into the future on a test I just did.  odd.

By the way, i found a work around (and possibly the core issue) and posted it in the bug: https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/13150/#9141

That’s the fix.. going to close the thread and have you follow up via the bug report. Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
