Here’s a odd new one: in the control panel under the Design tab, the labels are incorrect for many of the UI elements, from headers to buttons. For example, the following changes are appearing:

    Template Management > template_management
    New Group > new_template_group
    Delete Group > delete_template_group
    Edit Group > edit_template_group
Template Group Name: site >  name_of_template_group: site
    ..etc.

This seems to be isolated to only the Design tab of this install:
    EE Version 2.1.0 build 20100810
    Microsoft-IIS/7.0
    MySQL client version: mysqlnd 5.0.7-dev - 091210 - $Revision: 294543
    PHP 5.3.2

Are you on the latest, hot-fixed build? Are you using any extensions?

Using version 2.1.0 build 20100810, as mentioned above. I am using extensions (playa, matrix, wygwam, trunchtml, and a couple others) but I don’t think it’s related to them—I just ported over from an Apache build where it was working (and still works) correctly. Can you help point me to where these values might be controlled?

    Shanan,

make sure you ported over your language files into system/expressionengine/language/english/

That did the trick—replacing the files in the language folder corrected the error. Must have been corrupted in the transfer. Thank you.
