I have an EE 2.1 website in development. A large amount of our revenue will be through affiliate ads on our site.
We have already signed up with two affiliate programs, Commission Junction and LinkShare. Both of them allow us to sign up with stores on their site and once we do we get to choose which type of ad to place, a text ad, banner ad, or box ad which are available in several standard ads. Once we get this the actual HTML code is given to us which we can embed in our coding for our website.
The problem is with the website I’m having developed there is a box available where I can place an ad but this would be static. On many sites I visit it appears the ads can change when a website is refreshed or as I change pages by clicking on tabs. Is it possible to have this in EE? Is there any type of ad handler, plug-in, or add-on which allows something like this?
