I’m having trouble installing EE2.1. My client had a hosting package through godaddy that they need me to use. For whatever reason I keep getting the message “The page you requested was not found”. If I go do the installation directory I get the message “Directory access is forbidden.” You can see what I’m seeing here: http://www.313mediagroup.com/system/installer/

I put a php info file on the server to show php5 is working: http://www.313mediagroup.com/test.php

Any ideas of what I can try?

Unfortunately, I can’t help with your issues, but you may want to seriously consider changing your “system” folder name once this is resolved.  Don’t wanna post that directory info on a public forum.

Also, looks like EE is already installed.

Yes I was able to get it to install. I followed a posting on this thred which helped http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/163543/

Good idea to change the control panel location. I’ll go change it now.

Great!  Don’t really need to change the location of the control panel (I think that requires some more adjustments in your code).  I’d just rename it, and then update your server path in your index.php file.
