Ok, so the guys at EE have given us an incredible web publishing system, that allows us almost complete freedom with design.

We can structure our pages and style them to almost any end. Some of us, including myself, thought why not pagination? To offer more complete control over the default pagination settings, we have created Logiq Pagination.

Logiq Pagination is a simple extension for EE2.1 - it lets you specify:

    * The number of links to show before and after the currently viewed page. ie. “1 2 3 4 5 6 7”.

    * Start tags for First, Last, Next, Previous, Digit, and Current Page links. You can use li’s, or divs, or add classes and ids,its really up to your imagination.

    * Extra Pre start tag and pre end tags. I use these to place in

    <ul>

    and closing ul tags.

    * Extra Opening / closing tags. Another extra tag before the pre-start and pre-end tags, such as div openings/closings and clears.

    * An option to change the last link to be the total number of pages. So instead of seeing First Prev 1 2 3 Next Last the user would see ‘Prev 1 2 3 ... 20’. I find this especially useful.

Logiq Pagination is based largely off of Bystrom Pagination. It has been re-written to work with EE2.1 and CodeIgniter’s pagination system, has added features, and has better explanations in the control panel settings so users know exactly what each field is modifying in their pagination.

    Logiq Pagination is free.

One suggestion - it’d be nice for the extension to be MSM aware, and allow different styles on different sites.  Or possibly even channel-specific.

Thanks for the suggestions. They are actually great, and I will implement for the next release.

    Cheers mate

Sorry guys, Pagination needed a serious reboot.

Now in version 2 with MSM compatabitty and optimized to allow for site specific settings, the project can be found here. http://www.logiqdesign.com/blog/index.php/site/comments/pagination_2

There are a few compatibility issues with other addons that have completely written their own pagination settings or tinkered with EEs pagination logic, so I will be looking at improving this issue and solving it in the next week or so.

    Best,
    Alex

Is there any documentation for this extension? Example code? The documentation link in the extension 404s and looking through the PHP isn’t helping all that much.

Is anyone experiencing issues with this plugin and the ‘Structure’ plugin?
