Hi, I am am in the process of upgrading from 2.0.2pb01 to 2.1. Followed the instructions re upgrading the version rather than the build but on running the upgrade wizard I am prompted to do a complete fresh install including the need to enter database settings, username, password etc.

Is this expected on upgrading to 2.1? If so are databases preserved or do I need to back-up and reload these as well? I have never seen this approach in upgrading previous versions in the past, usually the wizard just runs.

OK, answered my own question. No it doesn’t, but does rather highlight that things often go far more smoothly if I follow the actual instructions. So updating went smoothly when I put the old config and database files were where they should be.
